What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Junior Underwriter, you will have the opportunity to put your analytical skills, teamwork, and sense of responsibility to good use. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Assessing the financial risk of Gouvernail groups (groups of up to 50 employees):
  •  Establishing pricing and preparing bids for potential future clients
  •  Establishing pricing for renewals with current clients
  • Assessing the impact on pricing when contracts are modified
• Maintaining strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
• Participating in ad hoc projects to ensure the continuous improvement of our pricing processes

• Stands out for their communication skills, research and analytical abilities, and autonomy
• Demonstrates strong ability to manage multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Is recognized for their team spirit and commitment to continuous improvement
• Has a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business administration, actuarial science, or finance
• Has one year of relevant experience (an asset)
• Possesses advanced knowledge of Excel and other Office software
• Has knowledge of the group insurance market (an asset)
• Is bilingual (an asset)
