What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Junior Underwriter, you will have the opportunity to put your analytical skills, teamwork, and sense of responsibility to good use. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Assessing the financial risk of Gouvernail groups (groups of up to 50 employees):
- Establishing pricing and preparing bids for potential future clients
- Establishing pricing for renewals with current clients
- Assessing the impact on pricing when contracts are modified
- Maintaining strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
- Participating in ad hoc projects to ensure the continuous improvement of our pricing processes

We’re looking for someone who:
- Is known for their strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to prioritize while being service-oriented
- Stands out for their communication skills, research and analytical abilities, and autonomy
- Demonstrates strong ability to manage multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Is recognized for their team spirit and commitment to continuous improvement
- Has a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business administration, actuarial science, or finance
- Has one year of relevant experience (an asset)
- Possesses advanced knowledge of Excel and other Office software
- Has knowledge of the group insurance market (an asset)
- Is bilingual (an asset)
