What you will accomplish with us
As an Account Director, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong business relationships with partners while developing trust-based collaborations.
Secure new sales and achieve business development targets.
Deliver and strategically position our service offerings in the market.
Represent iA Financial Group at industry events.
Lead the preparation and delivery of finalist presentations.
Actively contribute to the evolution of our service offering in collaboration with internal teams.
Collaborate with the renewal specialist to renew the existing portfolio.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, business administration, or any other relevant field.
Has 4 years of experience in business development, group benefits or a similar role.
Is recognized for strong influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills.
Stands out for autonomy, customer-focus and strong relationship-building abilities.
Demonstrates strategic thinking and a collaborative mindset.
Holds an AMF licence in group insurance or the Fellow title of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, or commits to obtaining it within a reasonable timeframe after hiring.
Intermediate level of English proficiency, as the person will be required to communicate daily with English-speaking clients across Canada by email and phone.
Fluent in French both oral and written
