As part of our Internal Wholesaling team, you will report to the Vice-President, National Inside Sales, and work closely with the VP of Sales and Regional Sales Associate to drive proactive sales efforts within a defined territory. This hybrid role is based in Montreal and includes occasional travel to attend events and meet clients.


As an Internal Wholesaler, you will help drive sales and strengthen relationships within the brokerage and dealer community. What you’ll accomplish with us

As an Internal Wholesaler, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Partner with a VP of Sales to manage a defined territory, collaborate with the Regional Sales Associate, prioritize daily activities, and take direct responsibility for achieving territory sales targets and Internal Wholesaler KPIs.

  • Generate and grow business by conducting proactive outbound prospecting, making daily video and phone contacts with advisors, expanding existing relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting asset growth and retention.

  • Perform daily purchase and redemption calls to monitor trends, identify prospects and first-time tickets, and provide actionable insights to support sales strategy.

  • Leverage strong product and industry expertise to understand advisor business needs and deliver appropriate, tailored solutions that drive sales and long-term relationships.

  • Support the VP of Sales by following up on meetings, roadshows, events, and webcasts, and assisting with client segmentation, service-level definition, and the development and quarterly review of the annual territory business plan.

  • Coordinate and promote regional marketing initiatives, including outbound call campaigns for roadshows and events, ensuring strong attendance, engagement, and post-event follow-up.

  • Manage data, reporting, and client support materials by maintaining accurate product, policy, and procedure information; preparing fund comparisons and analytics using Morningstar Report Portal and YCharts; and creating broadcast emails for advisors and internal stakeholders.

  • Participate in national, regional, departmental, and project meetings, sharing feedback, insights, and market intelligence with the sales team.

  • Escalate client issues promptly to the appropriate departments and the VP of Sales, and contribute to special projects as required, including occasional evening and weekend events.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 3–5 years of financial industry experience.

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.

  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to work extended hours and undertake limited travel as required to support territory events and client engagement.

  • Possesses CSC credentials (required); IFIC, CIM, CFP, CFA are considered assets.

  • Is proficient with Morningstar Report Portal, YCharts, and Salesforce.

  • Advanced level of French and English proficiency is required, as the role involves regular communication with advisors and internal stakeholders across Canada.
