Our Commitment to Indigenous Peoples
iA Financial Group recognizes the significance of the millennia-old ties that bind Indigenous peoples to Canadian territories, and is committed to promoting true reconciliation based on trust and respect for diversity. Our head office in Quebec City is located on Innu and Wendat lands, and we recognize that Indigenous perspectives on Canadian history have often been overlooked, and that celebrating Indigenous cultures, facilitating their meaningful participation in the economy and respecting their rights are essential to building a more prosperous and inclusive Canada. In response to the call from Indigenous communities, we invite all Canadians to work with Indigenous nations to build a sustainable future, taking into account the impact of our collective choices on future generations.
