Unclaimed property

If you believe that you or someone upon whose behalf you are acting has unclaimed property with iA Financial Group, you can submit a search request to the iA Unclaimed Property Coordinator.

Please present your request in writing along with supporting documentation and a copy of a piece of personal identification with a photo ID. Please complete and submit the Unclaimed property search request form to the following address

Ensure to include all documentation relative to your request. If the property owner is a minor and you are the parent or guardian, please include a copy of a piece of your personal identification as well as the minor’s birth certificate. If you are acting in a representative capacity for the property owner, please submit a copy of the document which provides you with the authority to make the request (i.e. Power or Attorney, proxy or authorization), accompanied by a copy of a piece of your personal identification as well as a copy of a piece of the owner’s personal identification.

Please anticipate up to 4 to 6 weeks for a request to be processed and a claimant notified of the result. This period extends from the moment that iA has received all documentation required for the search until it has been completed.

Notice to former mutual members of Industrial-Alliance Life Insurance Company

iA Financial Group is currently searching for former mutual members of Industrial Alliance who became shareholders of the company at the time of its demutualization and who have not yet claimed certain dividends generated by their company shares.
