Description
Practice Lead – HR Innovation and AI
Build the Future With Us
Are you driven by innovation, the transformation of HR practices, and the responsible, human-centered application of artificial intelligence?
As Practice Lead – HR Innovation and AI, you will play a strategic and structuring role within the Talent and Culture Vice Presidency (VPTC) by orchestrating the HR AI ambition and maximizing business value creation across the organization.
This key role is part of the establishment of the AI Innovation Hub, whose mandate is to bring AI to life, scale its impact, and elevate its contribution in support of talent, culture, and an enhanced human experience.
What You Will Accomplish With Us
As Practice Lead – HR Innovation and AI, you will be at the core of the HR AI transformation. Your main responsibilities will include:
Defining, leading, and evolving the VPTC AI strategy and roadmap (vision, priorities, and portfolio of use cases).
Ensuring HR AI governance in alignment with the corporate AI@iA framework, in partnership with VPTC Systems teams and the IT Delivery Tower.
Supporting teams and senior leadership in the identification, prioritization, and industrialization of high–business-value HR AI use cases.
Acting as a strategic partner to HR leaders to support decision-making and trade-offs related to AI initiatives.
Promoting a pragmatic, value-driven approach focused on proof of value, adoption, and sustainable impact, while avoiding proof-of-concept initiatives without tangible outcomes.
Conducting strategic and technology watch on AI, talent analytics, automation, and productivity tools.
Translating emerging trends into actionable opportunities for the VPTC and the broader organization.
Leading and providing functional leadership to the Digital Allies network, supporting engagement and capability development.
Contributing to AI literacy, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of best practices through communities, workshops, and events.
What Will Help You Succeed in This Role
We are looking for someone who:
Brings senior-level experience in organizational transformation, innovation, strategy, or consulting—ideally in HR, digital, or technology-driven environments.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of AI, including generative AI, automation (low-code / no-code), assistants and agents, and their applications in HR.
Is recognized for the ability to connect technology with business value, using a pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
Demonstrates excellent strategic thinking, structuring, and simplification skills.
Exercises influential leadership and is able to mobilize multiple stakeholders without formal authority.
Possesses strong relationship-building, communication, and collaboration skills.
Demonstrates critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset.
Has experience managing complex initiative portfolios and working in matrixed or large organizational environments (an asset).
Intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role requires daily conversations with unilingual English‑speaking colleagues and partners, as well as the ability to read, understand, and produce business documents (e.g., deliverables, presentations, written communications). These interactions will notably take place with subsidiaries located in the United States and Canada, as part of projects, workshops, and the sector’s day‑to‑day activities.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
A visible and structuring role at the heart of a major strategic transformation.
The opportunity to make a concrete and measurable impact on HR practices and the employee and manager experience.
A work environment where innovation, learning, and collaboration are top priorities.
A healthy, inclusive, and human-centered workplace, supported by flexibility and a hybrid work model.
Competitive benefits, including flexible group insurance, a competitive pension plan, employee share purchase plan, vacation and wellness days, telemedicine, employee and family assistance program, performance bonus, discounts on iA products, and more.
