Job Title
Senior Advisor, Integration Modeling and Economics
Build the future with us
Are you driven by growth, organizational transformation and sustainable value creation, and do you want to contribute to the purpose of a company that seeks to ensure its clients feel confident and secure about their future? As a Senior Advisor, Integration Modeling and Economics, you will play a key role in assessing economic impacts, modeling scenarios, tracking value, and supporting decision-making in mergers, acquisitions and HR integration initiatives.
As mergers, acquisitions and integrations (MAI) are at the core of iA Financial Group’s growth strategy, the HR MAI function supports the human, cultural, technological and operational integration of acquired entities, while ensuring consistency of HR practices, compliance and the quality of the integration experience. The role exists to provide clear, structured and decision-ready economic insight; to translate organizational, operational or technological challenges into comparable scenarios, quantified impacts and concrete recommendations; and to support rigorous decision-making, value tracking and the continuous improvement of the HR MAI practice, including the evolution of tools, approaches and standards.
This position represents an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and fully leverage your potential within a caring and trusted organization. Here, people and their development are at the heart of our priorities, fostering an environment that supports collaboration and innovation.
What you’ll accomplish with us
As the Senior Advisor, Integration Modeling and Economics, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring a rigorous discipline for tracking integration value and performance, including monitoring expected benefits, incurred costs and variances between initial assumptions and actual results, in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Analyzing and synthesizing the impacts of prioritization, sequencing and transition choices on value realization over time, and producing clear analyses and recommendations for MAI leaders and key partners.
• Supporting the HR MAI practice by structuring value‑effort‑risk analyses and contributing to the estimation, sizing and comparison of integration or evolution scenarios.
• Feeding prioritization and capacity management exercises by developing an integrated view of dependencies, impacts and required trade‑offs, to help leaders make faster, clearer and better‑supported decisions.
• Strengthening the quality and consistency of the HR MAI practice by developing and maintaining reusable frameworks, models, reference assumptions, estimation standards, economic modeling and documentation standards, as well as related templates, tools and reference materials.
• Identifying recurring sources of avoidable costs, rework or unnecessary complexity, and formulating concrete recommendations to improve rigor, speed and execution efficiency across the practice.
• Working closely with HR, Finance, IT, Legal and other involved functions to ensure a coherent, credible and shared understanding of integration issues, by clarifying assumptions, dependencies and the impacts of proposed options.
• Translating complex issues into clear, structured and decision‑useful analyses, exercising influence based on rigor and the quality of recommendations, and acting as a subject‑matter expert in modeling, scenarios, synergies and integration performance.
What could accelerate your success in this role We’re looking for someone who:
• Is recognized for strong strategic analysis and economic modeling skills, supported by solid mastery of analytical tools and a strong interest in numbers.
• Stands out for their ability to synthesize, structure and simplify information, translating complex issues into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset and initiative‑taking in complex, cross‑functional and fast‑evolving environments.
• Is known for sound judgment, a strong advisory posture and the ability to influence without formal authority, particularly in transformation, integration or strategic decision‑making contexts.
• Has a minimum of 8 years of experience in roles related to strategic analysis, modeling, finance, consulting, transformation or integration, including relevant experience in financial modeling, business scenarios, economic analysis or performance tracking; experience in mergers, acquisitions and integrations is a strong asset.
• Has an intermediate level of proficiency in English, as well as in French, as the role involves analyzing, modeling and presenting scenarios, and regularly interacting with multiple collaborators and business partners (HR, Finance, IT, corporate functions).
