This is a temporary, 18-month contract.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Communications Specialist, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to promote a transparent and consistent flow of information within Dealer Services and Partners.

  • Develop a communications framework that establishes norms, standards, templates and processes.

  • Create and distribute compelling content for communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, project emails, weekly updates, video, and social media platforms.

  • Collaborate with various departments and project managers to ensure that communication aligns with organizational goals and initiatives.

  • Organize and coordinate internal events, town hall meetings, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Support senior leadership in crafting key messages and announcements working alongside our GCX team when applicable for interviews and press.

  • Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of communication efforts.

  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and content.

 We’re looking for someone who:

· Is known for their excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills

· Stands out for their excellent command of spoken and written French and English, as the candidate will be working, meeting and writing with our English and French speaking partners on a daily basis.

· Demonstrates strong autonomy and leadership

· Is recognized for their strong interpersonal skills and the ability work effectively with diverse teams

· Has 5-7 years of experience in an internal communications role

The typical hiring range for this position is $90,000 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
