By joining our team as a User Experience Advisor – UX Research, you will put your passion for UX research and design to work by helping shape the evolution of the tools used by our insurance, savings, and retirement advisors. Through your contributions, you will help enhance the user experience while supporting business performance. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with multiple teams and influence a variety of stakeholders across the Individual Insurance, Savings, and Retirement sectors.

What You Will Accomplish With Us
As a User Experience Advisor – UX Research, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the key responsibilities:
- Establish, manage, and evolve a structured user research practice, including participant recruitment, research planning, facilitation of research activities, analysis of findings, and development of actionable recommendations.
- Guide stakeholders in identifying research needs and objectives by working closely with UX designers, digital experience strategists and advisors, as well as business teams.
- Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to produce high-value deliverables, including user insights, personas, user journeys, and strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to the evolution of user research and user experience (UX) practices, tools, and methodologies by incorporating industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in UX design activities, including facilitating co-creation workshops, defining user journeys, creating low-fidelity wireframes, and developing prototypes.
- Promote a user-centered approach by ensuring research insights are effectively integrated into design and decision-making processes.

What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is known for their ability to independently lead end-to-end user research initiatives and their expertise in both qualitative and quantitative UX research methods, including usability testing, semi-structured interviews, card sorting, tree testing, A/B testing, experimentation, field observations, and focus groups.
- Stands out for their ability to analyze, structure, and synthesize complex data into meaningful insights, actionable recommendations, and high-value learnings for teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments, along with excellent communication and stakeholder influence capabilities in a fast-paced and evolving context.
- Is recognized for their autonomy, proactivity, initiative, and strong understanding of UX design principles, including accessibility, heuristics, information architecture, user-centered design, user journeys, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Has a minimum of five (5) years of experience in qualitative and quantitative UX research, ideally in a B2B or B2B2C environment involving digital tools designed for professionals, such as portals, internal tools, transactional platforms, or case management solutions. Knowledge of web analytics tools is required, and experience in the financial services industry, particularly insurance or savings, is considered an asset.
- Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves conducting user testing and interacting with advisors from brokerage networks and agencies across Canada, including unilingual English-speaking participants, on a regular basis several times per week.
