Key Responsibilities

  • Design detailed technical and system solutions in accordance with established architectural guidelines.
  • Develop high-performing, scalable, reusable software components aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate on architecture initiatives and contribute to the organization's technology direction.
  • Serve as a technical reference for delivery teams and ensure compliance with integration, development, quality, and security standards.
  • Configure and optimize development environments, continuous deployment pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Support the operationalization, deployment, and evolution of technology solutions.
  • Promote the reuse of existing components and participate in evaluating new technologies, platforms, and services.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, developers, analysts, and business partners to ensure solution consistency and long-term viability.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation required to support solution sustainability.
  • Coach and support internal resources, partners, and vendors involved in solution delivery.
  • Participate in Level 2 and Level 3 support activities and contribute to the resolution of major incidents when required.
  • Actively contribute to the development and execution of application and technology evolution roadmaps.
  • Continuously monitor emerging technologies and promote industry-leading practices, methodologies, and tools across the organization.

What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another relevant field.
  • Has more than ten years of experience in Information Technology, including at least three years as a Software Designer.
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in modern software development approaches such as Agile, MVP, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Has solid experience in DevSecOps and integrating security, quality, and compliance practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Possesses strong expertise in software design principles, including SOLID, Clean Code, maintainability, testability, and reusability.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and responsible approach to using Artificial Intelligence to improve the quality and efficiency of deliverables.
  • Is recognized for strong communication skills, the ability to simplify complex technical concepts, and excellent synthesis skills.
  • Exercises strong leadership and influence when collaborating with delivery teams and business partners.
  • Possesses strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Has significant experience designing application-to-application and system-to-system integration solutions.
  • Stands out through coordination, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Has knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry (an asset).
  • Has knowledge of Salesforce and its integration within a corporate application ecosystem (an asset).
  • Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to communicate, analyze, and explain operational and technical issues to English-speaking business partners, vendors, and stakeholders on a monthly basis.
  • Has an advanced level of French proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to interact with, analyze, and explain operational and technical issues to French-speaking business partners, stakeholders, and users on a regular basis.
