What You'll Accomplish With us
In this role, you will serve as a trusted insurance advisor, offering expert guidance on financial protection and insurance products to a diverse client base. You will develop personalized insurance strategies and, as part of your career growth, expand your knowledge of investment planning.
Emphasizing relationship management, you will engage with clients to understand their unique financial goals and craft tailored solutions, including comprehensive insurance strategies. By leveraging our virtual and digital channels, you will provide exceptional service, foster strong client relationships, and drive business growth through proactive engagement.

Proactively build and grow a book of clients through service-oriented sales strategies focused on insurance solutions and financial protection.
Develop holistic financial plans that prioritize insurance strategies based on clients’ individual circumstances and goals, with opportunities to learn and integrate investment planning.
Cultivate long-term client relationships by gaining insight into their financial goals and providing tailored financial advice, incorporating comprehensive insurance solutions.
Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through assets consolidation, addressing insurance needs and facilitating referrals.
Develop holistic financial plans that integrate investment and insurance strategies based on clients’ individual circumstances and goals.
Ensure accuracy and up-to-date information in client accounts and documentation.
Execute client requests accurately and in a timely manner.
Stay up to date with regulatory rules and changes in the investment and insurance industry.
Stay current on insurance products, market trends, tax and regulatory changes.
Lead team discussions on industry changes, internal changes and product knowledge
Share best practices and insights on insurance strategies in the private wealth context.
Prepare and submit complete insurance applications, including illustrations and all required documentation.
Manage the underwriting process in collaboration with carriers and internal partners.
Maintain client files and information on the appropriate systems.
Document all client interactions and transactions accurately.
Respond promptly and effectively to client inquiries and requests.
Resolve insurance-related issues efficiently and accurately, escalating complex situations to the Director when necessary.
Understand required documentation for all carriers and products.
Ensure compliance with team policies and procedures.
Collaborate with business partners and independent advisors to enhance client service and offerings.
Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of experience in insurance advisory, insurance sales, or financial protection.
Experience in investment advisory or willingness to learn securities is an asset.
Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP) or equivalent recognized by the AMF in Quebec is completed, and the ability to become insurance licensed is mandatory.
Preference given to applicants with CLU®, CFP®, F.PL or other insurance-related designations.
Willingness to pursue securities licensing (CSC, CPH, WME) is an asset.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Pleasant telephone manner and an ability to keep client conversations on track
Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies and market trends.
Strong initiative, organizational skills, and client-centric approach
Ability to take initiative and Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Strong understanding of industry and firm compliance regulations
Education and Accreditations:
Life Licence Qualification Program course (LLQP) completed.
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) completed (or willingness to pursue).
Conduct & Practices Handbook course (CPH) completed (or willingness to pursue).
Wealth Management Essentials course (WME) completed (or willingness to pursue).
Preference will be given to applicants that are already licensed with CIRO as Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR).
Preference will be given to applicants with the following designations: CLU®, F.Pl., PFP®, QAFP® and/or CFP® designations.
Bilingual [French] is an asset.

The base salary for this role ranges between $75, 000 - $90, 000 annually.
