What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Manager, Underwriting Group Insurance, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Oversee pricing activities in Québec (quotes and renewals) and support complex and strategic files while ensuring disciplined risk management and maintaining a balance between growth and profitability
• Mobilize, coach, and develop a team of underwriters by encouraging initiative, idea sharing, and continuous learning
• Optimize production flow and workload distribution while maintaining a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Evolve pricing practices, tools, and processes by contributing to continuous improvement
• Coordinate interactions between pricing, actuarial, and distribution teams to ensure alignment of orientations
• Actively participate in strategic mandates and the development of business solutions for the line of business

• Is known for their ability to mobilize multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively
• Stands out for their strong risk analysis and decision-making skills
• Demonstrates a strong ability to evolve in a dynamic environment and effectively prioritize
• Is recognized for their excellent communication skills, professional judgment, as well as their influence and negotiation abilities
• Has several years of experience in group insurance pricing
• Holds a university degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field
• Has experience in team supervision or project management
• Stands out for their contribution to the evolution of practices, processes, or tools
• Advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves collaborating and communicating pricing-related information with English-speaking actuarial and distribution teams on a regular basis
