What You Will Accomplish With Us
As a Senior Administrative Support Clerk, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities are presented in two areas:
Operational Support
Open, monitor, and close short‑term and long‑term disability claims, including the setup of direct deposits;
Manage the department’s administrative documents and communications (scanning, filing, managing shared inboxes, and incoming and outgoing mail);
Perform financial operations related to files (invoice payments, deposits, preparation, distribution, and follow‑up of cheques).
Team Support
Train and support new colleagues to facilitate their onboarding and skills development;
Act as a subject‑matter resource and reference for the team by responding to operational questions;
Support the team lead in distributing and prioritizing work based on volumes and service deadlines;
Take ownership of more complex files or situations requiring judgment and expertise;
Participate in special projects, including innovation, optimization, and process modernization initiatives.
What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a relevant post‑secondary diploma or has a minimum of three years of relevant experience, ideally in a structured administrative or operational environment (insurance, finance, or complex administrative services);
Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role requires daily written communication with unilingual English‑speaking clients, as well as written and verbal communication with unilingual English‑speaking colleagues;
Is recognized for their rigor, strong attention to detail, and reliability;
Stands out for excellent prioritization skills and respect for service deadlines;
Demonstrates a strong ability to support a team, act as an operational reference, and show a pedagogical approach;
Is known for strong communication and collaboration skills, with a clear customer‑service orientation.
