As a Senior Web Developer, Digital Marketing, you will play a key role in supporting digital initiatives and ensuring the success of full‑stack web development and digital marketing campaigns.

Working alongside a team of senior developers and digital marketing experts, and reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, you will contribute to the creation of templates and features, the resolution of technical issues, the continuous improvement of the code base, acceptance testing, and the implementation of new technologies. Acting as a bridge between design and technical implementation, you will help deliver applications that are both visually compelling and functionally robust.

This position represents a great opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and fully realize your potential within a caring and trustworthy organization. Here, people and their development are at the heart of our priorities, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Senior Web Developer, Digital Marketing, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Sitefinity CMS features and integrate with Salesforce CRM for personalized digital experiences.
  • Build responsive, interactive front-end solutions using HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Kendo UI.
  • Implement REST/JSON API integrations across internal and external channels.
  • Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0/AODA and CASL for accessibility and email marketing.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and marketing teams on new initiatives and platform enhancements.
  • Manage deployments, source control, and documentation using Git/Bitbucket.
  • Implement analytics and tracking with GA4, Sitefinity Insights, and other tools.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies to improve digital performance.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is known for their strong technical expertise in full‑stack web development, including front‑end and CMS technologies, with solid proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, responsive design, as well as .NET MVC, C#, Razor templates, Visual Studio, REST/JSON APIs, object‑oriented programming, and cross‑browser compatibility.
  • Stands out for their advanced experience with CMS and marketing technologies, including expert‑level use of Sitefinity CMS and Kendo UI, integration with Salesforce CRM and other marketing technology platforms, and familiarity with version control and ALM tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of modern development practices and standards, including Agile methodologies (Scrum, backlog management), accessibility and compliance requirements (AODA, WCAG 2.0, CASL, PIPEDA), SEO best practices, and exposure to AI/LLM tools to enhance digital experiences and automation.
  • Is recognized for their problem‑solving abilities, communication skills, and collaboration, with the ability to self‑manage web projects, adapt priorities, manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment, and work effectively within an integrated team.
  • Has 5+ years of experience in web development, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience), with familiarity in Azure cloud hosting and deployment strategies, Windows‑based web hosting environments, and a preference for experience in entrepreneurial, high‑growth, or fast‑paced organizations.
  • Experience with Windows web hosting and cloud hosting technologies, particularly Azure, is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Sitefinity Insights, Siteimprove, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for adapting design templates is an asset.
  • Understanding of caching strategies and cloud APIs is considered an asset.
  • Experience in entrepreneurial, fast‑paced, or high‑growth environments is considered an asset.
  • Background in financial services organizations is an asset.
