What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Senior Buyer, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities include:
Analyzing procurement needs and conducting research on products and services using the tools available.
Establishing, renewing, and negotiating contractual agreements as needed, including service and software maintenance contracts, and ensuring the S2P catalog is kept up to date.
Placing purchase orders, monitoring follow-ups, and ensuring compliance with procurement directives, information security standards, risk management, and compliance requirements.
Supporting team advisors in the execution of more complex files and contributing to the delivery of results within established cost, quality, and timeline objectives.
Planning and organizing your activities to achieve performance objectives, applying operational processes, and proposing continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintaining professional relationships with suppliers in accordance with the code of ethics, and ensuring the integration of information, updates, and reports related to various registers (contracts, renewals, savings, etc.).
What could accelerate your success in this role
We are looking for someone who:
Is recognized for their strong procurement expertise, supported by a solid knowledge of the Windows environment and the Microsoft Office suite, as well as familiarity with a procurement system (Oracle Procurement or equivalent – an asset).
Stands out for their negotiation skills, excellent customer service, and ability to establish effective business relationships.
Demonstrates a high level of rigor, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage priorities and work on multiple files simultaneously.
Is recognized for their proactivity, sound judgment, resourcefulness, initiative, and professional curiosity.
Has a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in the procurement field, supported by a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (e.g., procurement).
Has an advanced level of proficiency in English, as the role requires daily interaction and collaboration with English-speaking partners, U.S.-based subsidiaries, and external suppliers.
Has an advanced level of proficiency in French, as the role requires daily interaction and collaboration with French-speaking partners, and external suppliers.
