What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Team Leader for the Transactions and Nominee Payments team, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to technicians in analysis, problem resolution, and the handling of complex requests; respond to operational questions and propose solutions adapted to the issues encountered.

  • Act as a first‑level operational escalation point for sensitive cases, support activity prioritization, and contribute to the resolution of operational incidents and critical situations.

  • Ensure compliance with operational processes related to mutual fund and segregated fund transactions, including controls, deadlines, and quality standards.

  • Participate in Daily Management System (DMS), plan activities, allocate workloads based on operational needs, and ensure the daily sharing of key information and operational changes with the team.

  • Contribute to the training, coaching, and onboarding of new employees, explain technical or complex topics in an accessible manner, and support the updating and continuous improvement of administrative procedures.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is known for their in‑depth knowledge of processes, systems, and activities related to self‑directed transaction and payment operations, as well as their understanding of interactions between operational teams.

  • Stands out for their ability to coordinate the work of others and influence work practices, supported by strong analytical, critical thinking, and judgment skills.

  • Demonstrates high level of rigor and strong mastery of compliance requirements, while effectively managing stress in a high‑volume operational environment.

  • Is recognized for their excellent communication skills, their ability to explain complex issues in a clear and accessible manner, and their proficiency with operational IT tools (asset).

  • Is able to communicate in English and French (advanced level) both orally and in writing due to frequent interactions with English- and French-speaking colleagues and representatives across Canada

  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial operations.

  • Holds a College Diploma (DEC) in administration, finance, or a related field.
