Advisor Solutions Manager

In this role, you will deliver both proactive and reactive sales support to selected advisors.  As a key member of our national Sales Enablement team, you will ensure that the right support is given to the right advisor at the right time.

You will refer large and complex cases back into the regional teams for specialized support and collaborate when needed.  You will act as a filter and intermediary, spotting new cases and ensuring the right support is delivered to the right advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships and advocacy with all regions and team members

  • Bring a positive mindset to our team and be ready to drive productivity with our advisors

  • Triage incoming reactive requests and ensure timely response times

  • Build advisor ability to independently access PPI’s tools

  • Support Inforce Illustrations when appropriate

  • Maintain a high degree of industry and product knowledge, understanding the marketplace and remaining current on industry trends and initiatives

  • Align various internal and external resources to enable advisor sales growth, when appropriate

  • Collaborate with other Advisor Solutions Managers across the country to leverage strengths and provide a seamless support experience for the Advisor

  • Maintain and regularly update Recruitment Tracker and Activity Tracker to record advisor activities/interactions.

  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards through documentation, training and demonstration of behaviour and actions aligned to standards.

  • Engage in actions that encourage, reflect and align with PPI’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments to our advisors, their clients and our employees

Job Knowledge / Work Experience:

  • 4+ years financial services industry experience in a sales or sales support role

  • Demonstrated time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage

  • Strong communication skills in virtual environments

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships in a virtual environment

  • Proven ability to spot sales opportunities and align appropriate resources

  • Ability to adhere to compliance legislation and guidelines

  • Knowledge of financial services industry

  • Knowledge of Teams, Outlook, excel considered an asset

  • Ability to manage emotion and impulses to absorb constructive feedback

  • Ability to manage various personalities and situations

  • Ability to track and work efficiently while being a team player to drive results for all of PPI

  • Understanding of the regulatory environment within: IIROC, MFDA, CU and PM firms as well as various provincial insurance regulators considered and asset

Education, Certifications or Licenses:

  • College Diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience

  • Current life license or working toward

  • LOMA courses, CHS, CLU, CFP, CFA, CSC, SWIM considered an asset

This role is for an existing position. The expected salary range for this position starts at $68,000 and will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and skill set.
