What you will accomplish with us
As a Technology Architecture Advisor – Email Messaging, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:
Technology architecture
Define and maintain reference technology architectures for email messaging services (Exchange Online, hybrid environments, and related M365 services).
Establish architecture principles, standards, and constraints applicable to messaging.
Evaluate and recommend technology directions based on business needs, risks, and the IT roadmap.
Governance and oversight
Act as an architecture reference within technology governance bodies.
Provide architecture assessments for projects, change requests, and cross-functional initiatives.
Validate the compliance of solutions proposed by delivery teams with established architectural guidelines.
Security, compliance, and resilience
Integrate information security, regulatory compliance, and data protection requirements into messaging architectures.
Define architecture targets related to availability, business continuity, and resilience.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure consistency of architectural controls (e.g., phishing protection, encryption, DLP).
Evolution and technology monitoring
Conduct structured technology monitoring of messaging services and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Analyze architectural impacts of new capabilities or vendor-imposed changes.
Recommend the adoption, deferral, or exclusion of certain features based on architectural alignment.
Advisory and expertise
Advise delivery teams, operations teams, and project managers on architectural considerations.
Act as an architecture expert in complex or high-impact situations (e.g., major incidents, structural changes).
Contribute to knowledge sharing and the overall architectural maturity of the organization.
Expected deliverables
Reference and target architectures (conceptual / logical level).
Technology architecture principles and standards.
Architecture assessments and recommendations.
Technology impact and risk analyses.
Contributions to technology roadmaps.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a college diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant field.
Has 8 to 10 years of experience in information technology, including significant experience in technology architecture and email messaging.
Has demonstrated experience in advisory, oversight, and governance roles.
Is recognized for strong expertise in messaging architectures, particularly Exchange Online and hybrid environments.
Stands out for a solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, identity, and security challenges.
Demonstrates strong analytical, synthesis, influence, and communication skills in complex and cross-functional contexts.
Is fluent in French, both spoken and written.
Has an advanced level of English, as the role involves facilitating meetings, delivering presentations, and communicating regularly by email with English-speaking internal and external colleagues and partners.
