Contributing to the production of financial results, including reserve valuations and capital-related elements.
Supporting recurring monitoring activities (key indicators, analyses, explanation of variances) and contributing to informed decision-making.
Performing or updating assumption and experience analyses, documenting methodologies, and quantifying impacts (changes in bases, parameters, rates, expenses).
Developing, modernizing, and strengthening actuarial tools—calculations, controls, data collection, documentation—with a focus on quality, efficiency, and maintainability.
Analyzing and interpreting results with managers and translating insights for various stakeholders (finance, pricing, leadership), including the preparation of summaries and recommendations.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and has a minimum of one year of experience in actuarial work, ideally in financial results analysis or group insurance.
Has successfully passed one or more actuarial exams (SOA or CIA) and is working toward the ACIA designation.
Has a strong interest in programming and automation.
Is recognized for their rigor and strong analytical skills.
Stands out through a continuous improvement mindset and structured thinking.
Demonstrates a high level of autonomy, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
