Looking for an opportunity to participate and coordinate portfolio manager oversight activities, product development and manager searches as well as assistance in fund launches and ongoing fund management activities? We have a position for you within our Investment team!
Indeed, we are currently looking for an Analyst / Senior Analyst - to join our Fund Management and Oversight team.
Working closely with the other members of the team, you will have the opportunity to participate in, lead and coordinate various fund management activities, conduct oversight of portfolio managers and of fund platforms as well as supporte product development. You will be called upon to put forward your communication, analytical, leadership and coordination skills in particular by performing the following tasks:
What you’ll accomplish with us
As an Analyst - Fund Management and Oversight, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Maintain strong relationships with multiple external managers by conducting regular due diligence meetings, including the assessment of investment processes, fund positioning, risk management and performance using internal and external tools (e.g. Morningstar Direct, eVestment).
Analyze fund offerings and develop reporting to evaluate quality and diversity, identify strengths and weaknesses, and formulate data‑driven recommendations.
Gather, synthesize and communicate relevant information to the lines of business regarding management firms, investment strategies, fund positioning and performance.
Contribute to fund selection processes by aligning partner needs with the optimization of business relationships across IA Financial Group.
Support recommendations related to the development, enhancement and management of investment products and fund structures, including fund launches, transformations, closures, transactions and periodic rebalancing, leveraging both internal and external expertise.
Support the growth of the lines of business and represent IA and the Investment team across internal networks by sharing analyses, providing insight on fund offerings, performance and positioning, and ensuring visibility into monitoring processes and tools.
What could accelerate your success in this role :
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a Bachelor's degree in finance or Master's degree in business administration or finance, an asset
2 - 5 years experience in a similar or relevant position
CFA designation or be in the process of certification
Has Advanced knowledge of Excel
Is a strong analytical skills and who is an excellent communicator
Is an excellent collaborator, high degree of motivation and strong leadership skills
Fluency in French and an advanced level of English proficiency are required, as the individual will be expected to communicate and deliver presentations to internal and external clients located across Canada on a daily basis.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 60 000 and 85 000CAD per year + bonus; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
