We are seeking a Director, Integrated Administration of Insurance Contracts and Exclusive Services to ensure the performance, stability, and sustainability of modernized processes, while also being accountable for exclusive services and highly complex cases across all environments (both legacy and modernized systems).

 

This role acts as a key enabler in the modernization of individual insurance administration and works in close complementarity with the leadership responsible for legacy systems, under the governance of Senior Leadership.

What You Will Accomplish with Us

As Director, Integrated Insurance Contract Administration and Exclusive Services, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Lead, engage, and develop a management team responsible for the administration of individual insurance contracts within modernized environments, as well as exclusive services (Elite, advanced cases, and complex files), covering both legacy systems and modernized environments

  • Ensure overall operational performance, including quality, turnaround times, productivity, risk management, and customer experience, within highly complex environments

  • Play a key role in the operationalization of modernization initiatives by ensuring the effective integration of modernized processes and systems into day‑to‑day operations

  • Be accountable for the stability, performance, and sustainability of modernized processes once delivered by transformation teams, in close collaboration with IT and project teams

  • Ensure seamless coexistence between modernized processes, existing processes, and exclusive services to minimize impacts on clients, the sales force, and business partners

  • Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and service standards aligned with business strategy, modernization priorities, and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure compliance with service and performance standards at a national level in a context of continuous transformation

  • Ensure that processes and tools support the delivery of a distinctive and personalized customer experience, particularly for Elite clients and complex cases

  • Plan, organize, and manage departmental activities to achieve operational and strategic objectives while maintaining the balance between operational stability and evolving practices

  • Define, monitor, and analyze performance and management indicators to assess operational effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and support decision‑making

  • Foster skill development and team engagement in a context of increasing specialization, evolving ways of working, and long‑term operational sustainability

  • Communicate proactively and continuously with other divisional leaders, IT teams, project teams, the sales force, and external partners to promote alignment and collaboration

  • Support and advise teams and managers in resolving complex situations, going beyond problem‑solving to create added value

  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative, and sustainable working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders (MGAs, reinsurers, internal partners)

What Will Help You Succeed in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in administration, actuarial science, finance, accounting, law, or another related discipline

  • Has a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, including at least three (3) years in a management role

  • Has significant experience in individual insurance contract administration, including complex environments, specialized services, or modernization initiatives

  • Is recognized for their ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage highly complex operations

  • Demonstrates strong proficiency with Windows‑based office tools

  • Is fluent in French as the role requires daily interaction, communication, and presentations with unilingual french‑speaking partners
