What You Will Accomplish with Us
As an Accounting Analyst, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Perform various accounting tasks related to month-end closing (reconciliations and adjustment entries for distribution network compensation);
Carry out periodic controls specific to the sector;
Conduct various analyses as needed;
Support the Accounting Advisor in projects and ad hoc tasks;
Provide support for strategic projects initiated by corporate teams and the Vice Presidency;
Actively participate in improving work methods (automation and optimization);
Develop and implement control procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial data;
Respond to information requests from internal partners (compensation, corporate accounting, financial operations, actuarial, etc.).
What Will Accelerate Your Success in This Role
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA designation;
Has a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting;
Is recognized for excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
Stands out for organizational skills and ability to manage priorities, even under pressure;
Demonstrates strong rigor and autonomy;
Adapts easily in a constantly evolving environment;
Possesses advanced knowledge of Excel and a strong interest in artificial intelligence;
Has an intermediate level of English, as the role requires regular oral and written communication with English-speaking collaborators and teams across Canada.
