Are you driven by information security and eager to contribute to the purpose of a company that aims to help its clients feel confident and secure about their future? As a Senior Information Security Advisor, Business Alignment (BISO), you will play a key role in shaping the evolution of information security. Acting as a trusted strategic reference for business sectors, leaders, and senior management, you will ensure the alignment of business priorities with information security requirements, while actively contributing to the advancement of practices across the Information Security Vice‑Presidency.

This position is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and fully realize your potential within a caring and trustworthy company. Here, people and their development are at the heart of our priorities, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Senior Information Security Advisor, Business Alignment (BISO), you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner and primary point of contact between Information Security and the assigned business sectors, ensuring clear, consistent communication aligned with organizational priorities.

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with executives and senior management, providing high‑level strategic advisory services to align information security with business objectives and support informed decision‑making.

  • Support business sectors in managing information security risks by translating technical issues into concrete business impacts and overseeing critical files within their scope of responsibility.

  • Ensure the proactive integration of information security into business projects and initiatives from the early stages, in order to maintain coherence, compliance, and alignment among stakeholders.

  • Participate in and facilitate strategic committees and governance bodies, contributing to high‑level discussions and producing clear executive summaries on the organization’s information security posture for senior management.

  • Conduct continuous strategic monitoring of threats, emerging trends, and structural changes in information security, and effectively communicate potential impacts to business sectors.

  • Actively promote a strong information security culture through business sector support and by ensuring strategic and policy coherence across communications and practices.

  • Contribute to the evolution, harmonization, and continuous improvement of information security practices, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, frameworks, and deliverables, while working closely with practice leaders and seasoned experts.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is known for their strategic judgment, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to thrive in complex and constantly evolving environments.

  • Stands out for their political acumen, influential leadership, and the ability to unite, guide, and inspire stakeholders, including senior management, around strategic issues.

  • Demonstrates strong ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, with a results‑driven mindset and a proven capacity to deliver large‑scale initiatives.

  • Is recognized for their advanced communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to structure, synthesize, and simplify complex issues to effectively support executive decision‑making.

  • Has minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, including at least 7 years in a strategic and influence‑based role in information security and IS governance.

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or another relevant field of equivalent level.

  • Has an advanced level of proficiency in French and an intermediate level in English, as the role requires weekly verbal and written interactions with unilingual English‑speaking vendors and may occasionally involve delivering executive‑level presentations in English.

Why you’ll love working with us

  • A work environment where learning and development merge with a collective pursuit of excellence.

  • A healthy, safe, fair, and inclusive environment where potential can be freely expressed and developed.

  • The opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, supported by flexibility and access to inspiring and innovative workspaces.

  • Competitive benefits: Flexible group insurance, competitive pension plan, stock purchase plan, vacation and wellness/personal development days, telemedicine, employee and family assistance program, ergonomic furniture program, performance bonus, discounts on iA products, and much more!
