What You Will Accomplish with Us

As an Insured Annuities Technician, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Entering and processing transactions in various financial and administrative systems, as well as performing reconciliations between systems;

  • Ensuring rigorous follow-up of annuitants’ files and responding to various requests from customer service and participants;

  • Analyzing documents related to insured annuities and payable benefits, calculating overpayments using Excel, and processing files, including those related to a participant’s death;

  • Interpreting insured annuity contracts as well as the laws and regulations applicable to pension plans;

  • Performing certain annual tasks and related duties associated with the management of insured annuities;

  • Communicating in writing with participants as required;

  • Actively participating in the review and optimization of processes using a continuous improvement (LEAN) approach and various task-support tools.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a college diploma or a bachelor’s degree in administration or another related field;

  • Has 2 to 3 years of relevant experience related to the position;

  • Is recognized for their rigor, attention to detail, and thoroughness;

  • Stands out for their autonomy and ability to collaborate within a passionate team;

  • Demonstrates strong numerical skills and a solid aptitude for working with numbers;

  • Is recognized for their analytical skills and strong written communication abilities;

  • Has an intermediate level of proficiency in English, as the role requires daily written communication with unilingual English-speaking internal partners;

  • Has a good command of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
