The Group Insurance and Savings Products team is looking for a Group Insurance Product Leader to develop a comprehensive and attractive offering for group insurance clients.
The Product Leader will be accountable for the life cycle of a product, from the generation of ideas to the client experience, and will collaborate with experts from various teams (Marketing, Communication, Sales, Underwriting, Actuarial, Administration, Compliance, IT) to coordinate the product development and administration.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as an expert, strategist and go-to person for everything related to the group insurance offering, including existing products such as disability, health care and dental benefits, life and accident insurance, travel insurance and wellness, as well as new products to develop;
Oversee product development and business processes and coordinate with external and internal partners;
Analyze the business needs, trends, issues and market changes and their impacts on products (features, price, systems, administration and distribution) and propose solutions that are adapted to the products and the situation;
In cooperation with the Marketing and Communication teams, validate the content of any informative, promotional and communication materials to ensure they are accurate, compliant and use a plain language approach;
Provide training to internal teams;
As a group insurance expert, attend, as needed, meetings with clients, consultants and advisors;
Keep abreast of the group insurance and savings market, through readings, webinars, conferences, meetings with providers, and be proactive in proposing product improvements or innovations that meet customer needs and expectations, and are in sync with the business line’s strategic orientation.
University degree (administration, finance, actuarial, marketing) with six to eight years of relevant experience
Experience in financial services and product development
Knowledge of group insurance products and processes
Leadership, teamwork, positive attitude, creativity and strategic thinking
