Sales Director Life insurance - Montreal

As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be responsible for promoting iA's life insurance products and services to independent financial security advisors through World Financial Group (WFG). You will also be responsible for participating in the development of effective business relationships with advisors and administrative staff in WFG offices.

Your daily routine will look like this:

• Train WFG advisors on life insurance products, sales concepts and iA software as well as applications and forms;
• Work closely with territory sales management to develop a marketing plan for their region, specifically for the dissemination of product and software knowledge to advisors;
• Use your in-depth knowledge of our products and the insurance industry in general, as well as your interpersonal skills, to increase sales and retain assets;
• Create and revise PowerPoint presentations;
• Respond promptly to telephone, e-mail, written and in-person questions in a professional manner;
• Participate in scheduled conferences, tours, presentations and advisor events on evenings and weekends as required.

Ideal career path:

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma
• Experience in insurance/financial services, and excellent knowledge of life insurance products
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively manage multiple advisors
• Ability to influence and motivate business partners
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to delegate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
• Advanced knowledge of French and English language, as the person will be required to communicate with colleagues outside Quebec and in Quebec who speak only English or French, in addition to running training sessions and answering questions by telephone or e-mail with external English and French-speaking partners several times a day.
