Are you someone who has a great understanding of Pharmacoeconomics and is looking for an opportunity to utilize your expertise to develop new and innovative products? iA Financial Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmacy Strategy Leader, Drug Management to join our close knit team. In this role, you will play a key role in creating and implementing drug management strategies to create robust drug benefit coverage for our plan sponsors and members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in crafting and promoting iA's drug management strategy within the group insurance division to maximize value for our plan sponsors and members.

  • Lead finalist presentations, participate in client meetings, and provide tailored training to various teams based on specific needs.

  • Engage in industry committees and provide support to the drug product development team.

  • Spearhead the Drug Evaluation Process, including monitoring the pharmaceutical industry, evaluating new drugs, and defining reimbursement criteria.

  • Collaborate with our PBM, Express Scripts Canada, to optimize benefits for iA and plan sponsors while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of their offerings.

  • Cultivate and develop strategic partnerships with key pharmaceutical industry stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a related field, or 10 years of experience within in the pharmaceutical industry or group insurance industry with a focus on drug management.

  • Thorough understanding of provincial drug support and research programs, as well as insight into the drug market access in Canada.

  • Exceptional client service skills with strong presentation and communication.

  • Advanced level of the English language both written and verbal communication since in this role you will be required to lead finalist presentations, provide expert advice and guidance and support the Sales Team as well as clients based in Toronto and Western Canada on a daily basis.
