Are you someone who loves being able to convey business needs into technical requirements? Does being responsible for developing and driving the product vision and strategy sound exciting to you?

if so we are looking for a Product Owner to join our close knit Business Solutions team. In this role you will be defining and prioritizing requirements, ensuring that they meet the needs of customers and maximize the value delivered by development teams while respecting priorities from the program. 

What will I be Doing in this Role:

  • Set up optimal solutions in collaboration with IT teams, business sectors and PMs;

  • Build, edit, organize and maintain the backlog of the permanent production team (EPR)

  • Facilitate and prepare certain Scrum ceremonies for the teams, including the review;

  • Organize and lead the initiative exploration activities prioritized by the strategic team;

  • Participate in the definition of "User Stories" by providing the necessary clarifications to help the team (EPR) in its estimates and sequencing;

  • Ensure follow-up of dependencies with other business solution advisors;

  • Get involved in perfecting the backlog of the program and preparing the planning of product increments (BRP / PI);

  • Master the processes of the different sectors and advise the owners of these processes to the options and opportunities available;

  • Work with the team to agree that the “User Story” meets quality standards and "Definition of done" (DoD);

  • Participate with expert users in the documentation of anomalies and improvements minor and contribute to their prioritization;

  • Share the progress and impacts of the current project with all stakeholders;

What we are Looking For:

  • Undergraduate university level education in an appropriate field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in damage insurance or any other relevant experience

  • Any other relevant training relating to SAFe, Agile or project management

  • Client focus, analytical mind, good judgment, comfortable working with teams

  • Excellent communication skills, good listening skills, organizational skills,

  • Comfortable with IT tools, good knowledge of Exigen and its tools

  • Knowledge of SAFe methodology and improvement methodology and LEAN

  • Resourcefulness, autonomy and ease of adapting to change

What are Nice to Haves but Not a Requirement:

  • AGILE / SAFe training

  • SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager Courses (5.0) training

  • Have played the role of SME

  • Have a good command of communications in French and English, both oral and written
