A great opportunity awaits for candidates interested in a position as Team Leader – Transfers and Deposits. Your mandate will be to support, train and guide your team in the processing of tasks to maintain service levels. You will also participate in strategic orientations by making recommendations based on operational realities.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely not only with members of the deposits and transfers team, but also with other Investia Financial Services operational teams.

As Team Leader, you will:

  • Act as the dedicated resource person for the transfers and deposits team.

  • Plan training to develop your team members and maintain service levels.

  • Review procedures and update them on the team’s Sharepoint.

  • Update, facilitate and maintain the daily DMS.

  • Analyze and resolve more complex requests from team members or customer service.

  • Establish projects and goals for the team, in line with the company’s objectives.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in continuous improvement workshops.

  • Participate in the recruitment of new transaction technicians, when necessary.

  • Provide recommendations for resolving complaints.

Desired profile

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years experience in the financial services sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial products and strong technical skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to convince and plan (written and oral skills).

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Excellent sense of organization, autonomy and teamwork.

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Courses on investment funds in Canada or securities trading in Canada are an asset.

  • Excellent command of French and English for frequent interaction with French- and English-speaking colleagues, partners and clients across Canada.
