General Responsibilities:

Equity Research Associate

  • He/she must be responsible for contributing to the writing of research reports and complex financial models.

Associate Institutional Equity Sales & trading

  • The candidate will have to support the analysis of customer accounts, profitability, coverage and market share
  • Candidate will support marketing report analysis
  • The candidate will contribute to the creation of reports on market news, observation of variations and quarterly reports of companies
  • The candidate will have the chance to become familiar with the rules of institutional trading

Bond Desk

  • Update our internal trading platform (security information)
  • Create/maintain the database
  • Assist the traders with their current needs
  • Send daily emails
  • Help create Excel Reports
  • Assist in Clerical/back office tasks


  • Few hours per week only
  • Goal is to create data bank for potential clients, accounting/lawyers firms, advisors and business consultants that could open their doors for us.


  • Ensure all ECM requests, as well as The Street’s are managed in a timely and accurate manner always having a view that ECM is a service provider to the rest of the firm.
  • Maintain and update bank lead deals summary, budget revenue tracker, and deal list as well as the exempt list database
  • Provide support as required with advisor teams as follows:
  • Distribute, collect, and review for accuracy completed subscription agreements from advisors
  • Ensure waivers and related Product due diligence questionnaires are completed for Compliance as well as all related documentation ie: Pec forms

Requirements: Skills, Abilities, and Experience (for all)

  • Specialized Honours undergraduate degree and MBA
  • Strong research, analytical, problem solving skills, and ability to think creatively
  • Advanced computer/technical skills – MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to produce high quality work
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills
  • Advanced computer/technical skills – MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Proficiency to work in a team
  • Ability to work independently
