As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding business needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and supporting our partners in the implementation of high-performing initiatives. What you will accomplish with us
As a Business Analyst, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the key responsibilities of the role:
- Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize business needs based on strategic and operational objectives, and translate them into clear and detailed requirements (features).
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions aligned with business needs, including assessing their suitability as well as associated costs and benefits.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (business cases, requirements, etc.), communicate requirements to stakeholders, and ensure their understanding and validation.
- Develop current- and future-state process maps, manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, and contribute to change management activities.
- Collaborate in the development of testing strategies, the identification of risks, issues, and performance indicators, and participate in testing activities.

We're looking for someone who:
- Is recognized for their analytical mindset, ability to synthesize information, and creativity, enabling them to understand complex challenges and support effective decision-making.
- Stands out for their understanding of business best practices, solution-oriented approach, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to influence and facilitate discussions with a variety of stakeholders.
- Is recognized for their ability to collaborate on medium- to large-scale projects and for their knowledge of business analysis practices and tools. A business analysis certification and familiarity with BABOK, IIBA, Agile SAFe, and BPMN are considered assets.
- Has five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as a Business Analyst. Experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry is considered an asset.
- Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role requires collaborating, both verbally and in writing, with unilingual English-speaking developers and certain vendors on a weekly basis.
