Do you enjoy developing marketing strategies and driving product positioning, promotional and marketing activities? Are you known for your business acumen, leadership, good judgment and capacity to manage medium- or large-scale projects? iA Financial Group’s Group Benefits and Retirement Solutions sector is looking for a Senior Marketing Strategy Advisor.
In this position, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and implement business, marketing, distribution, product positioning and thought leadership strategies
- Lead strategic projects and specific mandates
- Plan and coordinate marketing initiatives and implement performance measurement indicators
- Conduct competitor and data analysis to identify trends, issues or opportunities, and make recommendations to help market and develop group insurance and savings products
- Define client journeys and value propositions for our products and services
- Oversee multifaceted projects from planning to delivery, passing through information gathering, implementation, coordination and approval management, while adhering to the company’s deadlines, budgets and quality standards
- Offer daily support to our sales force across Canada to support business development
- Advise our teams, management and different departments requiring business strategy and marketing expertise
- Working closely with product managers, create a strategy for the offers and projects under your direction
Your career path looks like this:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing (master’s degree in marketing is an asset)
- Eight years of relevant work experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of financial and/or group insurance and savings products
- A global vision you can leverage to develop and coordinate complex strategies with all stakeholders
- In-depth experience in market monitoring and data analysis
- Superior ability to develop and implement marketing strategies
- Ability to craft creative presentations in support of strategy recommendations
- Leadership, analysis and synthesis skills, strong business acumen, team spirit, ability to manage tight deadlines, and creativity
- Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French-speaking clients across Canada
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
