We’re looking for an Analyst, Private Investments Operations whose main responsibilities will be to perform and/or oversee operational and support processes related to mortgages. Those activities are either performed internally or by our external partners.
Reporting to the Director, Operations Management, your main responsibilities will be to:
Understand, analyze, and take the steps required to ensure the proper recording of all financial data pertaining to private investments, including mortgages.
Analyze and process various cash flows relating to these investments.
Support our internal account managers (requests, follow-ups, etc.).
Process and reconcile cash and accounting flows.
Maintain good data quality in our systems to meet the needs of our stakeholders.
Answer questions from our custodian regarding day-to-day operations.
Perform payment/reception between our portfolios and our external partners.
Work closely with other investment operations team members to solve complex problems in a timely manner.
Participate in the implementation of monitoring processes that are standardized and supported by proper controls.
University degree in Finance or Accounting (or relevant experience)
2+ years of experience in investment operations
Extensive understanding of financial markets and/or wealth management
Experience in executing and monitoring mortgages transactions, a strong asset
Good understanding of the Canadian regulatory environment surrounding securities operations
Experience working with EAGLE, an asset
Being able to communicate in English and French is required
