We are looking for an experienced valuation professional to join the dynamic Investment Support team at iA Global Asset Management (iAGAM), a subsidiary of iA Financial Group. The candidate will be responsible for part of the asset valuation activities, ensuring that valuations are accurate, in compliance with regulatory standards and conducted in due course.
You will work closely with real and private asset managers, as well as with various partners (internal and external) and suppliers in connection with valuation. You will report temporarily to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (Investment) and your responsibilities will be as described below. Subsequently, you will report to the Head of Valuation on the COO team, who will in turn report to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities
- As part of the Valuation team, carry out daily investment valuation activities in compliance with established procedures
- Act as a resource person for all valuation-related questions
- Valuation of financial assets (in particular private investments, certain derivatives and other products outside public markets)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal company policies and best market practices
- Collaborate with portfolio management teams to provide analysis and recommendations on asset valuations
- Develop, improve and implement valuation methodologies
- Supervise the valuation activities of our administrative partners
- Develop automated controls covering the valuation of all financial assets
- Prepare valuation summary reports for the various asset classes
- Coordinate the activities of the company’s quarterly valuation committee
Desired profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in financial engineering, finance, business administration or equivalent
- A minimum of 8 years of direct experience in investment-related roles and extensive knowledge of investment
- CFA, FRM or comparable certification is a major asset
- Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
- French language proficiency would be a significant asset
- Agility, discipline and proactivity
- Ability to handle and analyze data responsibly
