What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Senior IT Analyst in Cloud Financial Management, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of cloud spending to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for potential optimizations.

  • Create and maintain dashboards to monitor cloud expenses and provide clear, accurate reports to stakeholders.

  • Participate in developing cost-saving plans with the Cloud Financial Management team.

  • Administer and use available tools to manage cloud costs.

  • Support cloud consumers in their optimization efforts.

  • Contribute to improving processes related to cost allocation, visibility, and internal chargebacks.

  • Define and maintain performance indicators for Cloud Financial Management.

  • Stay up to date on the evolution of FinOps practices in the market.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex financial and technological concepts.

  • Stands out for excellent communication and synthesis skills.

  • Demonstrates great adaptability in a constantly evolving and sometimes ambiguous organizational context.

  • Is known for collaborative leadership and the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.

  • Has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology, including 3 to 5 years in financial management related to technology.

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or any other relevant equivalent education (a graduate degree is considered an asset).

  • Is comfortable presenting information to senior management and interpreting financial and operational data.

  • Has a solid understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization methodologies.

  • Holds a FinOps Certified Practitioner certification (asset: FinOps Certified Professional).

  • Has in-depth knowledge of one or more cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Is proficient with analysis and reporting tools.

  • Additional asset: knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry.

  • Advanced level of French proficiency, as the role involves communicating with francophones on a daily basis.
