Description
The Client Data Ecosystem teams are looking for an IT Analyst to support our Master Data Management (MDM) platform. Client data solutions are at the heart of major ongoing transformation programs and will enable the company to build a unified customer identity and a 360-degree customer view, based on an enterprise-wide reference system providing master data.
This initiative is part of one of the company’s largest programs. The team, made up of highly skilled and dynamic professionals, is driven by a strong performance-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
Understand and validate business needs expressed by the team, working closely with the Product Owner (PO) and/or users.
Participate in defining functions, services, or technical components required.
Collaborate with the team to design the solution, staying within a "just enough — just in time" approach, using best practices supported by Centers of Excellence.
Apply and contribute to the development of functional rules, technical specifications, design standards, and solution delivery norms.
Actively contribute, along with other experts in the field, to the implementation of solutions and the execution of related activities such as: proof of concept and prototyping, various validations, effort estimation, test strategies, testing, operational and user documentation, training, knowledge base articles, etc.
Participate in or carry out testing at various levels of detail, whether functional or technical, and support partners in this area.
Actively contribute to maintaining the documentation needed for the sustainability of designed or existing components, as well as to the planning of IT asset evolution under the team’s responsibility.
Participate in monitoring, improving, and supporting applications, systems, and practices in their field.
When required, carry out certain technical, development, configuration, or quality assurance activities within the MDM environment.
Be familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps, ITIL, and apply best practices related to these methodologies.
Actively participate in all team activities (ceremony planning, definition of done, etc.).
Contribute actively, with other experts, to the implementation of solutions and execution of activities such as: proof of concept and prototyping, validations, effort estimations, test strategies, testing, documentation, training, knowledge base articles, etc.
Desired profile
DEC or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related and relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience working with customer data management solutions (e.g., MDM, Azure Data Lake, SQL).
Experience with programming languages, databases, or other relevant technologies and approaches (depending on the context).
Knowledge of Lean/Agile principles and the ability to apply them in a team-based work environment.
Demonstrates curiosity, rigor, and strong analytical skills.
Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
Willingness to continuously learn.
Adaptable in a context of frequent change.
Leadership, proactiveness, and autonomy.
Excellent collaborator and team player.
Advanced level of French and intermediate level of English is required. The role involves regular collaboration with both French and English-speaking business partners at iA in Canada. The selected candidate will also be expected to participate in meetings, deliver presentations, and produce written analysis in French and in English approximately 50% of the time.
Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry is considered an asset.
