Bilingual Communications and Design Specialist
About the Role:
We’re looking for a bilingual (English and French) Communications and Design Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role blends design, copywriting, and linguistic leadership. As the French language champion at PPI, you’ll ensure that our French-Canadian content is not only accurate but also culturally resonant and brand-aligned. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we communicate with French-speaking audiences across digital and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Design
Design visually impactful content including social media graphics, digital ads, email templates, presentations, and print collateral.
Write clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy in both English and French for campaigns, landing pages, product descriptions, and promotional content.
Collaborate with marketing team, sales leaders, and other stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality.
Contribute to content planning and creative brainstorming sessions.
Demonstrate awareness of and support for PPI’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments to our advisors, their clients and our employees.
French Language Leadership
Serve as the French language champion across all marketing and communications initiatives.
Review, edit, and polish French-language materials to ensure clarity, tone, and brand consistency—mirroring the editorial rigor applied to English content.
Support the localization of national campaigns for French-speaking audiences.
Manage and evolve the branded glossary of French/English terms to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Manage AI translation workflows using tools like Microsoft Copilot and DeepL, ensuring quality and contextual accuracy.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in graphic design and copywriting.
Advanced level of both English and French languages required to write and edit in both languages, provide linguistic leadership, and collaborate with and support English and French colleagues on a daily basis.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva or similar design tools.
Experience managing translation tools and glossaries (e.g., DeepL, Wordly, Copilot).
Understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices (email, social, web).
Experience with motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to adapt to feedback.
Knowledge of the financial services industry would be an asset
