In addition, you will support PPI, an insurance brokerage subsidiary, in transitioning to a new accounting system (quality, timelines, change management, innovative solutions).
Influence corporate alignments to reconcile governance requirements with operational realities.
Support and assist PPI in producing, analyzing, and presenting reliable forecasts and financial statements, while contributing to the definition and implementation of robust and efficient accounting processes.

Combines analytical thinking, client orientation, and sound judgment, while being comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams.
Possesses critical thinking and the ability to constructively challenge established practices.
Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and the CPA designation.
Has a minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate accounting or an equivalent financial role.
Advanced knowledge of English, as the person will be required to understand and explain specific expert topics to sector partners and the PPI subsidiary daily, both orally and in writing, representing approximately 30 to 50% of their time.
Advanced knowledge of French, as the person will be communicating with French speaking colleagues daily.
You may occasionally be required to travel to Calgary.
