Our Central Region Group Insurance Distribution team is growing.
Are results and good business relationships among your priorities? Are you known for your interpersonal skills, your autonomy, your ability to listen and to build trust? The position of Account Executive, Group Insurance, at iA Financial Group, may be for you.
Thanks to your leadership, influencing and strong social skills, and service mindset, you will build relationships with advisors and contribute to the achievement of Group Insurance's growth objectives and the development of iA brand awareness in Ontario.
Key responsibilities:
Sales growth and business development by establishing solid business relationships with our network of advisors, reinforcing and updating our distribution partners on our products, services and client solutions.
Developing new advisor relationships through your networking abilities
In collaboration with the Director, Distribution, Group Insurance, develop and execute on the sales and business development strategy
Promote the iA brand, represent the organization at industry events and plan events and activities with advisors.
Presentation of our products and services to advisor groups.
Lead the preparation and delivery of client finalist presentations.
Management of a block of business including the responsibility of some client renewals and financial management of accounts.
Be a contributing member of the Central Region sales team by actively participating in team sales meetings and work collaboratively with team members to ensure best practices within the region.
Requirements:
University education in a relevant discipline
GBA or CEBS designation or in the process of obtaining it
Minimum of 5 years experience in the group insurance industry as an account executive, benefits consultant or underwriter of group insurance plans
Leadership and excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build trusting relationships
Excellent judgment and ability to influence and negotiate, focus on business development
Strong listening, service mindset and organizational skills
Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize issues in a strategic manner
Focused and accountable for results
Excellent presentation skills
Available to travel frequently (personal vehicle and driver's license required)
