The Shared Services Centre (SSC) for Financial Operations is a dynamic team focused on efficiency and delivering impeccable service! The SSC provides a range of essential services to its partners through standardized solutions, enabling them to concentrate on creating value and achieving ambitious goals.
In a context of growth and transformation, the SSC is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the Payables function as well as Partner Support services.
Specifically, on the Payables side, responsibilities include invoice processing, expense report management, and coordination of the corporate credit card program.
On the Support team side, responsibilities include activities related to process and system support, as well as guidance on collaboration tools.
What You Will Accomplish With Us
As Assistant Director, Payables and Partner Support, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:
Leading, engaging, and supporting the team in daily operations related to Payables and Partner Support processes.
Coordinating service delivery to partners while maintaining the highest quality standards and evolving the service catalogue.
Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners, ensuring a high level of service and collaboration.
Developing and monitoring key performance indicators, ensuring rigorous accountability.
Coordinating activities related to risk management, controls, and financial audits.
Playing a pivotal role in modernization and process improvement projects by integrating innovative and technological solutions.
Encouraging innovation and the integration of artificial intelligence into processes.
Contributing to the development of annual objectives aligned with the strategic direction of our VP and the organization.
Actively participating in recruitment and ensuring onboarding of new employees, fostering learning and engagement.
Assessing employee performance and supporting their professional development.
What Will Help You Succeed
We are looking for someone who:
Is recognized for inspiring leadership and the ability to collaborate and develop talent.
Stands out for analytical rigor and strong prioritization skills.
Demonstrates excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Is known for strategic and creative thinking.
Has 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial operations, including the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
Has at least 2 years of team management experience.
Is familiar with call centre environments and client interaction management.
Holds a CPA designation (an asset).
Has advanced English proficiency, as the role involves serving English-speaking subsidiaries and interacting daily with internal partners and clients.
Advanced proficiency in French, as the person will be managing a primarily French-speaking team as well as interacting daily with internal partners and clients.
