We are looking for people with good analytical skills, sound judgment and influence to promote compliance within the sector in question! Are you a good communicator, with leadership and a service mentality? We probably have a place for you!

Here are a few challenges you might face: 

-Carry out oversight mandates as a member of the second line of defense of the IA Group; make appropriate recommendations and follow up on recommendations.
-Participate in the coordination of various compliance mandates
-Participate in various industry committees
-Advise and support the various sectors of the Group with respect to regulatory risk management and compliance

You could also : 

-Participate in the supervision of the financial advisors of the various Distribution Networks and in the monitoring of their practices in order to ensure the compliance of their activities
-Write certain compliance review reports
-Verify transactions made by financial advisors and ensure that they comply with the rules 
-Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
-Provide and deliver training to all branch staff in our distribution networks on regulatory and corporate policies and procedures

Profile sought :

-Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, accounting or any other relevant academic training
-At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
-Successful completion of the following certifications or credentials may be an asset for some opportunities: 

-Hold the CPA designation
-Successful completion of the Investment Funds Institute Investment Course and Branch Manager Examination

Hold a life and health insurance representative's certificate issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers or an equivalent certificate issued by a regulator in another province
