The IT Solutions Delivery Team for iA Dealer Services & Auto Finance, is looking for an IT Analyst to help support projects!
Your responsibilities:
- Assist in defining the functions, services or technical elements required.
- Assist in designing the solution in collaboration with the team while maintaining the “just enough – just in time” mentality using the best practices supported by the centres of excellence.
- Participate in the development and application of functional rules, technical specifications, and solution design and delivery standards.
- Actively contribute, with other experts in the sector, to the implementation of solutions and the execution of the following activities (examples): proof of concept and prototyping, various validations, workload assessment, testing strategies, testing, operations and user documentation, training and knowledge articles, etc.
- Assist with or carry out testing at various levels of detail, both functional and technical, and support partners in this area.
- Actively contribute to the maintenance of the documentation necessary for the sustainability of designed or current elements and to the IT asset development plans under the team’s responsibility.
- Assist in monitoring, developing and supporting applications, systems and practices in the sector or field of expertise.
- As needed, perform certain technical, development, configuration or quality assurance activities when required by the context.
Desired profile:
- College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, administration or other relevant training of a similar level and five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Lean/Agile principles and ability to apply them in a teamwork context.
- Strong analytical, processing, coordination and collaboration skills.
- Good communication, writing and lay explanation skills.
- Ability to maintain healthy work relationships with stakeholders in various sectors and at various hierarchical levels.
- Appreciation and promotion of internal partner/user contact.
- Curiosity, autonomy, discipline and analytical thinking.
- Desire to continue to learn.
- Basic experience with programming languages, databases or other technologies, depending on the context
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC), DevOps and ITIL, and application of related best practices.
- Advanced level in English, both oral and written, due to 100% of daily tasks to be carried out in English. Tasks in English include oral communication via videoconferencing to facilitate meetings and make presentations, as well as email writing and technical analysis, with unilingual English-speaking colleagues, partners and suppliers.
Technical knowledge:
- Functional Analysis, create and execute test plans, create documentation, provide testing estimates, conduct system demos/presentations, assist in deriving solutions.
- Basic understanding of systems/data architecture.
- Build and run SQL scripts.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, practicing and implementing SAFe.
- Code walkthrough.
- Salesforce (nice to have).

Salary Range: 75 - 105k
The iA flexible working model requires a minimum presence of 2 days per month at the Vancouver, Montréal or Québec office (depending on your location).
