Description

Reporting to the Business Efficiency Director, the Director, Practice Management, Training and Integration will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of high-performing professionals across Canada. By setting clear goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, the candidate will  empower the team to deliver exceptional results. The candidate will possess strong decision-making, problem-solving, and coaching abilities to ensure the team performs at its best and aligns with Investia’s strategic goals, including, among other things, our transformation to Office 365, adoption of artificial intelligence, and revision of internal processes.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Oversee, mentor, and coach a multi-functional team of experts working remotely across Canada, ensuring exceptional relationship management for our top advisors and their teams.
  • Lead the team through the adoption of O365, the integration of artificial intelligence and the revision of internal processes to drive transformation and efficiency.
  • Lead the national Practice Management team in achieving sales goals by providing advisors with business development strategies, standards, and process optimizations, fostering growth and ensuring compliance.
  • Lead the national Training team in building content and delivering training for our network across Canada, ensuring alignment with our strategy.
  • Support Business Practice Specialists in developing and maintaining the Investia Learning platform and creating content and presentations for the Investia network, with a focus on leveraging new technologies and enhancing efficiency.
  • Proactively identify opportunities by utilizing all Investia information sources and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement solutions that continuously improve and simplify advisors’ workflow, strengthening Investia’s position as a top leader.
  • Optimize the role of Practice Management, Training and Integration Specialists, by prioritizing the use of O365, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
  • Develop departmental plans and set team priorities aligned with corporate objectives, collaborating closely with Regional Vice-Presidents to support Investia’s strategic objectives.
  • Increase strategic relationships with stakeholders, business partners and Regional Vice-Presidents to drive growth and retention.
  • Work closely with executive business leaders, partners, and external vendors to build awareness and strengthen relationships, ensuring key initiatives are effectively communicated to and adopted by the network.
  • Proactively contribute and create added value in the projects delivered to advisors by the dealer.
  • Establish key performance indicators for the team and individuals to measure the quality of support and services provided.
  • Provide constructive feedback, training, and support to enhance team members’ skills and career development.
  • Empower the team to proactively identify and resolve complex issues, obstacles and challenges faced by advisors and their teams, fostering innovative solutions.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to employees, colleagues, and advisors.
  • Support business transition associates in onboarding and training new advisors and their teams joining Investia.
  • Actively identify and participate in workshops to pinpoint and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational challenges towards the continuous improvement of Investia’s service offer.

The candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment where products, services and regulation are fast evolving. It is essential to remain up to date on industry changes and new initiatives.

  • Advanced level of knowledge of English and French, as the person will be required to communicate by e-mail and videoconference with the teams of the various French and English business lines for all of Canada on a weekly basis. English-language tasks include oral communication via videoconferencing to facilitate meetings and make presentations, as well as writing e-mails, with unilingual English-speaking partners and suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline/10-15 years or more of relevant experience;
  • Previous team leadership and management experience;
  • Knowledge of financial products and services is an asset.
