Business Solutions Coordinator
A key member of the Strategic Relationships Team, you will work closely with the Director, Business Solutions and the Strategic Relationships Team to provide exceptional support and client experiences to Wealth, Accounting, Legal and Group Benefit firms and their advisors.
You will be aligned with the objectives of the business unit and will be responsible for supporting the overall efficiency of the Strategic Relationships Team, including utilizing PPI analytics to measure and report on KPI’s, coordinating the delivery of national sales and marketing programs, assisting in planning and executing all aspects of events.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize PPI analytics to provide appropriate data on advisor segmentation and other special projects to assist the Strategic Relationships Team in the development of sales and implementation plans.
Assist in the analysis of national and regional sales data and look for trends and improvements for the SR business unit.
Provide support with inquiries and escalations from advisors and strategic account firms, coordinating with the Director, Business Solutions and corresponding support within PPI.
Coordinate the local delivery and follow-up of national sales and marketing programs such as the Knowledge Program, including ongoing production coordination and dissemination of supporting collateral material.
Assist in planning and executing all aspects of events such as PD Days, Regional PPI Days, annual Advisor Conferences, off-site sales meetings; coordinate with the Strategic Relationships Team and wholesalers to plan and execute all marketing allowance events.
Work with administrative, sales and marketing support at the various strategic account firms, including facilitating events and coordinating advisor related initiatives for the firm.
Participate in the creation and implementation of the communication strategy for the Strategic Relationship business unit (executives, advisors and staff).
Prepare and distribute all forms of advisor communication relating to strategic relationships; manage various distribution lists for communication purposes.
Ensure that new or revised sales programs, materials and services are produced and delivered in a professional manner consistent with national brand standards.
Provide general support during the recruitment process for strategic relationship firms.
Facilitate the onboarding process of strategic relationship advisors, including:
preparing advisor onboarding items (welcome email, setting up orientation checklist, etc.)
setting up advisors with access to all relevant PPI systems, educate advisors on the use of the various systems in coordination with the Digital Sales Enablement Team.
Facilitate access to PPI systems for strategic relationship firms and coordinate with the National Production Support team on internal PPI systems.
Handle or redirect inquiries when Strategic Relationship team members are on vacation.
Exposure to basic sales related support, including:
Insurance surveys and illustration support
Connecting advisors with Carrier wholesaling teams
Facilitating preliminary medical underwriting enquiries
Assist the National Vice-President and Director, Business Solutions in coordinating and managing schedule, travel and events.
Additional responsibilities, duties and special projects as identified.
Some travel may be required.
Job Knowledge and Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years relevant administrative experience
Excellent knowledge of MS Office required
Knowledge of life insurance sales strongly desired
Proven organizational and logistics skills
Effective problem solver with initiative to create innovative solutions and bring the right people to the table to deliver on business unit and advisor needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including in-person and social platforms
Ability to manage emotions and impulses and receive constructive feedback while remaining level-headed
Superior time management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities while providing a disciplined approach to supporting strategic account firms and their advisors
Ability to evaluate how results are tracking; identifying and planning when to pivot to accomplish objectives
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain business relationships
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a transparent, team-based environment
Bilingualism in French and English strongly preferred
Education, Certification or Licenses:
College Diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience
