The innovation team is looking for an Innovation Consultant Expert with a solid background in AI to help the organization achieve its 2030 strategic plan.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate: Define, influence, support and evaluate innovative concepts/value proofs (ideas, technologies, ways of doing things, etc.)
  • Collaborate: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to make innovation everyone’s business
  • Evangelize: Promote a culture of innovation within the organization, share successes, failures, and trends
  • Deliver Value: Be results-oriented to track and demonstrate that innovation brings benefits
  • Analyze: Stay abreast of new trends and ecosystems (data, startups, etc.)
  • Governance: Evolve principles, processes, and best practices in innovation

Profile sought

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or any other relevant training at the same level in their specialty and deemed equivalent.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in information technology, including a minimum of seven years in their specialty.
  • Proven achievements and current expertise recognized by peers in their field.
  • Excellent communicator, structured and outstanding technical popularizer with a good synthesis and effective team working skills.
  • A natural leader with the ability to influence and guide others, particularly with solution delivery teams and collaborators on the periphery of their field of action.
  • Ability to function effectively in an organizational context that is constantly evolving and often ambiguous.
  • Knowledge of the start-up environment.
  • An advanced level of proficiency in English and French, as the person will need to exchange, present, and convince the different business lines and stakeholders of the organization. This is essential to allow them to understand their vision, respond to their needs, influence their choices, and successfully lead the initiatives they will be in charge of.

  • Master's degree in their field of expertise
  • Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry
  • Any relevant certification recognized in their field of expertise.
  • Experience in digital transformation and in large-scale projects will be considered an asset.
