Description
As a Business Content Development Advisor (English and French required) at iA Private Wealth (iAPW), you will play an integral role in developing key advisor-facing communications and creating business content focusing on trends and topics that are important to advisors and their clients. The successful candidate will be a seasoned content development and communications professional, bringing with them a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop written and visual materials on topics that are important to advisors and their clients like comprehensive financial advice, estates, digital, client and advisor trends and best practice and maintain a content library ensuring the brand standards are met.
Writes new and assesses and revises existing content that aligns with the overall goals and strategic initiatives.
Gather feedback from the management team and advisors and monitor content on an ongoing basis to ensure effectiveness. Update as required to ensure relevance and accuracy.
Conduct research and keep up to date with industry publications on trends in the Canadian wealth management space.
Build and review communications geared towards advisor teams for various projects ensuring all communications are submitted in a timely manner and meets high quality standards.
Simplify and communicate complex messages to advisor teams utilizing all available communications methods.
Review and manage content for the advisor resource hub to ensure accuracy and consistency with all of the pages and documents that are published.
Partner with Marketing to develop support materials such as videos.
Contribute expertise to creative brainstorming and concept development sessions.
Collaborate with members of the Business Implementation and Training Development team on the translation of training content.
Other accountabilities include:
Maintain the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
Develop and maintain relationships with the support teams leaders as well as the Practice Management and Training Delivery team and the Communications and Marketing teams by:
Communicating effectively and fostering teamwork and goodwill with internal departments.
Working collaboratively with these and other teams to understand the unique business needs of iAPW advisor teams and how best to deliver communications and content that will meet their needs.
Facilitating a culture of open and honest communication.
Actively participating and contributing to team meetings.
Other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Bilingual: advanced proficiency in English and French – speaking, reading and writing – is required
At least 5-8 years of progressive communications experience, with minimum 2 years of direct experience in investment management or financial services industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or Communications is preferred, or related educational experience in a communications-oriented discipline.
Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex messages.
Expert interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively liaise with all levels within the organization.
Proven ability to apply expertise and creative thinking to address unique or ambiguous situations.
Demonstrated skill in briefing, editing, and content direction.
Exceptional eye for detail.
Proactive and highly organized, with excellent time management capabilities.
Decisive, with effective problem-solving skills.
Multi-tasker, flexible and able to quickly adapt to new situations.
Results driven, able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to speak English and French to work with internal and external clients
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment & remotely (WFA).
Occasional non-standard work hours.
Some travel may be required.
