About me

Hello there! I am Karthiga, and I am a Financial Advisor with over 18 years of experience. I joined the insurance industry in 2006 and since that time my passion has been to help individuals, families, and businesses ensure that all of their financial needs are looked after.

As a Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), I am highly qualified to assist you in ensuring that you have the best plans and strategies in place to look after your personal and business needs. I specialize in putting the right plan and product in place whether it is life insurance, health insurance, disability insurance, investing in your RRSP, TFSA, RESP and FHSA, or getting you protected with an individual or group health and dental plan.

My main area of specialization is in assisting business owners with building, preserving and transferring their wealth in a tax-efficient way. I accomplish this by helping them pay less tax on their passive income, drawing out tax-advantaged income from their business in their retirement years, and finally maximizing the value of their corporate assets that they pass on to their children and heirs.

My passion for helping individuals can also be seen in my life away from my work. I am a certified and experienced First Aid Instructor and I derive much happiness and satisfaction from working in my community teaching CPR, AED, and all aspects of emergency first aid.
