We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Internal Communication Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication action plans to ensure consistent and transparent communication within Dealer Services with a particular focus on our business transformation program.
The Internal Communication Specialist will create engaging content for internal channels such as internal portal, newsletters, townhalls and emails, and will work closely with various departments to convey key messages and business updates to employees and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute internal communication plans to promote a transparent and consistent flow of information within Dealer Services.
Create and distribute compelling content for internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, video, and internal social media platforms.
Collaborate with various departments, including Change Management Office and the corporate communication team, to ensure that internal communication aligns with organizational goals and initiatives.
Organize and coordinate internal events, town hall meetings, and employee engagement initiatives.
Support senior leadership in crafting key messages and announcements for internal dissemination.
Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of communication efforts.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication plans and content.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications or another relevant field.
5 to 7 years' experience in an internal communication role.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactical communication plans.
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with digital communication platforms and tools.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Strong organizational and project management skills with tight timelines.
Tolerance for working with ambiguity.
Demonstrates autonomy and leadership.
Fluency in spoken and written French is a strong asset.
Excellent command of spoken and written English, as the candidate will be working, meeting, and writing with our internal English-speaking partners on a daily basis.
