We have an exciting opportunity for client-focused administrator to join our close-knit team as a Sales and Service Administrator. Your focus
Administration:
- Implement new business by issuing new policies and setting them up on applicable systems.
- Process mid-term and policy changes.
- Handle renewals by reviewing renewal data, calculating premiums, and inputting data into systems.
- Prepare endorsements, invoices, summaries, and related materials for brokers/clients.
- Re-issue contracts as necessary.
- Contact brokers/clients regarding outstanding renewal, premium, and administration issues.
- Assist brokers/clients with policy implementation, interpretation, administration, and claim requirements.
- Respond to client phone calls and email inquiries.
- Provide sales support functions as needed.
- Perform basic office administration tasks, including ordering supplies.
Underwriting:
- Review and evaluate risk, and analyze specifications for non-complex quote requests.
- Prepare and issue new business proposals and other quote documents.
- Conduct renewal analysis of in-force policies and prepare renewal notices requesting renewal information.
Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Generate periodic experience reports for special accounts.
- Assist the Compliance team and brokers with licensing requirements.
- Provide administrative support to other team members as needed.
Is this you?
- High School Diploma and Business Administration Diploma/Certificate or related experience.
- 3+ years of experience in group or special markets insurance is ideal!
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to keep everything on track.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities to solve problems and showcase innovative skills for evaluating, improving, and implementing solutions.
- Technical Skills: Advanced working knowledge of Windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented and thorough in your work.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Customer Service: A customer service-focused approach with a professional manner.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Pressure Handling: Ability to work well under deadline pressure.
- Confidentiality: A sense of urgency and confidentiality.
- Teamwork: Ability to work closely with others as a team player.
