Our Individual Insurance team is looking for an Administrative Technician to process various changes to life insurance policies.
More specifically, as part of your duties, you will :
- Process and code transactions in computer systems related to complex policy changes such as conversions, additions and reductions.
- Perform various accounting tasks such as balancing accounts and making deposits.
- Respond to customers' needs regarding their individual life insurance policies.
- Initiate calls or written correspondence to clarify incomplete or ambiguous requests from customers, representatives or agencies.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to meet file processing deadlines.
- Support the Customer Service team by responding to telephone and e-mail inquiries.
- Suggest improvements to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Profile required:
- BAC in administration, insurance and financial services or other related field.
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of Office suite.
- Advanced level of English language skills, both oral and written, to process account changes, policy amendments and review daily and weekly reports in English and interact with English-speaking colleagues and customers regarding transfers and updates, from across Canada, on a daily basis.

Compensation :
The typical hiring range for this position is between $48,000 and $55,000; The base salary offered is based on location and may vary depending on skills, job knowledge, experience and internal equity. All permanent iA employees are also entitled to an annual bonus.
